What should I bring to the school physical?

The school or team form (if you have it), the vaccination record and a list of medications or allergies. An adult must accompany the minor.

Do you do sports physicals?

Yes. We check heart, lungs, spine and joints and complete the league or school form.

How long does it take?

Usually 20 to 30 minutes, including completing the form.

Does my child need to fast?

No. They can eat normally before the exam.

Can you give vaccines or the TB test the same day?

Yes. If the school requires it, we give the flu or tetanus vaccine and do the TB test during the same visit.

Do you accept forms from any school district?

Yes. We complete the form from your school, district (HISD, Pasadena ISD and others) or sports league; if you don't have one, we use the standard format.

Vital signs, weight, height, vision and hearing are taken.
The medical staff performs the full physical exam and reviews the history.
The form is completed and signed; you leave with everything ready to turn in at school.
